Join us for a weekly Shaolin Kenpo class designed for LGBTQIA+ folks of all bodies, backgrounds, and experience levels. Led by Fith Degree black Belt Robyn M-L and her teaching partners, this class combines elements of Karate, Kung Fu and Qigong into a dynamic practice that builds strength, confidence and community.
Whether you’re curious about martial arts or ready to deepen your practice, you’ll learn self-defense techniques, boost your mind-body connection, and train in “dances” that support neurogenesis, balance, and wellness.

Dragon Crane, Inc is a 501c3 organization that develops programs and partnerships focused on mind-body wellness for anyone seeking to learn, regardless of physical or financial ability. We strive for a world in which all people are uplifted with dignity and respect. Robyn M-L is a Fifth Degree Black Belt under the teaching of Professor David Meyer, 7th Degree Black Belt, honoring the tradition of Great Grandmasters Ralph Castro and William Kwai Sun Chow.
Robyn is also Enter the Gate Master of Jook Lum Ting Sing Tong Long Pai Qigong under Masters Jeff Larson and Great Grandmaster Henry Poo Yee.
Parking and Transit Info
Street Parking: Park on or south of 31st St., on Holmes, Humboldt, or Irving Ave. There’s usually ample free or metered street parking within a block of Queermunity. Meters are $2/hour.
Ramp Parking: We offer discounted parking validation for 7 Points ramp at Hennepin and 31st, behind the mall across from Queermunity. Enter from Lake Street or 31st. Validation stickers are 2 hours for $3, and anything over 2 hours is $6. Park in the lot and purchase your sticker at the cafe.
ADA Parking: Vehicles with disability plates or certificates can park for free in the surface lot next to 7 Points Ramp (entrance off 31st St.) as well as most meters on 31st St. These spots are about 100 ft. from the Queermunity front door.
Public Transportation: We are just a few blocks south of the Uptown Transit Station, which is serviced by these routes: 6, 12, 17, 21, 23, 53, 114, 115, & 612. In particular, the 6 and 23 stop just feet from our door, on the corner of 31st
Bike Parking is available on the wall inside the entrance and ample traditional bicycle parking racks are available on the sidewalk in front of the building.
